Mystery Quilt Fall 2024 A Two-Fabric Quilt - Digital Download

This is a 2-color, 2-fabric quilt with some very small pieces  --  not difficult piecing but a lot of 
sewing.  Since the pieces are small, choose non-directional, tone-on-tone or solid fabrics.  The 
fabrics should read as solid colors from a distance.  Do not choose a design color with a lot of 
the background fabric color in it.  You want the contrast to preserve the design.   
This quilt will be beautiful whether you select a light background and dark design fabric or vice 
versa (dark background / light design).   

Please note:  This quilt needs to be limited to 2 fabrics.  Don’t choose another fabric for the 
border.  When making the throw/twin, double, or king, the design fabric will be used for the 
border and binding as well.  When making the queen, the design fabric will also be used for the 
1st border and binding.  The background fabric will be used as the 2nd border.
