Bindings (C)

Bindings are such an important part of finishing a project or quilt. Learn various ways to finish, using either a traditional binding or facing a piece. You'll get tips on achieving smooth straight bindings and square, mitered corners. Learn how to make bias binding, make corners with various angles or curved edges, add a flange or piping, and create a faux flange. A 1-hour break is included in the time listed.
Supplies needed are a sewing machine you are comfortable using, general sewing supplies, rotary cutter, 24 inch ruler (optional), fabric to cut into binding strips, quilt to attach a binding to or 3 layer practice pieces that are at least 16 x 16 inches.
