Prepared Applique Class - Lori Holt's "Granny's Garden" (C)

Learn multiple ways to prepare your fabric for hand applique while making several blocks from Lori Holt's colorful pattern, "Granny's Garden".  This 12-hour class will take you through all you need to know to be successful in creating beautiful hand-appliqued designs.  The class will run over 3 Saturdays with enough time in between for any work needed to be done to complete the tasks needed to move on to the next step.

Supplies Needed:
"Granny's Garden" templates by Lori Holt
1/4 inch bias tape maker
1 sheet each of the following:  Perfect Shape template paper, Ultimate Freezer Paper, Ricky Tims' Stable Stuff
1 glue stick
1 child's paint brush
1 of the following:  YLI Soft Touch thread, spool of silk thread, or any 60wt. thread of your choice
Fabric scissors and regular (paper) scissors

Recommended, but optional, items:
Small Clover iron or a very small iron (travel iron perhaps)
Finger Stilleto
Thimble
